The Burning Pass can be very dangerous during the day, not because of any alien fauna but because of the pass itself. The sides of the cliffs are riddled with shining flat stones. When Median's large sun moves across the sky, the light hits these stones and reflect blazing red hot beams down into the pass.

Viridian Plateau is a section of the planet that consists of wide-open rolling fields of grasslands dotted with patches of spiky acacia-like trees, clear lakes, and large mounds of dry rocky outcrops. Modest western-like towns pockmark this land. Huge buffalo/reptilian hybrid-like creatures move across it in herds of millions.
