Appearance: Amos is five feet and six inches tall. He weighs one hundred and ten pounds. There are black circles under his dark eyes when he's a man. Waist-length brown hair frames his long face. His preacher outfit consists of one black suit and matching shoes. A string tie is always attached to his white blouse. Reverend Howell's hat has one wide brim.
If Amos assumes his alien form, he's taller than a tree and his weight is unknown. He's blue-green with six yellow eyes and three fangs. His face is long and he has sixteen tentacles. There are two huge claws and the tentacles are able to stretch to ten feet.

Powers/Magic
Shape-shifting - Amos has the ability to transform into a blue-green alien with more than a handful of tentacles and eyes at will. As a creature, he's strong enough to pin Kryptonians down with a tentacle. He can slice a vehicle in half with one claw.
If Amos is in his human form, he'll sometimes grin so that his face stretches down. His teeth will become longer.
Tentacles - Other than the alien tentacles, Amos has two white appendages that emerge from his chest or mouth. They're able to be used at the same time. The tentacles can stretch to six feet. They're able to wrap themselves around one enemy and crush him or her.
Physical Abilities: Amos has the normal strength of a man engaging in regular exercise.
The alien form can pin Kryptonians down with one tentacle or use a claw to slice a car in half with ease.
Preaching - Since Amos is a preacher, he always delivers sermons about unity to anyone eager to hear him. He always uses a Southern accent with one gentle tone. Since Reverend Howell appears to be kind, he can fool others into assuming that he's a regular man of the cloth.
Weaknesses:
Human form - Amos is capable of getting sick or easily injured when he's a man. One kick or punch can easily knock him unconscious for an hour. He can't lift anything more than twenty pounds. Energy or psychic attacks cause him instant pain. Amos almost always hesitates to assume his alien form, since his human body is torn to shreds. Transforming causes him a lot of pain.
X-rays - Any form of x-ray can hurt Amos when he's in his human or alien form. X-rays burn his entire human body. As a result, he'll writhe on the floor. X-rays are capable of burning tiny holes on any part of his alien body.
Under-estimating enemies - Amos tends to under-estimate his enemies by assuming that they are too weak to defeat him. He may let the enemy go. His main bad habit is being reckless about keeping his alien identity a secret. He'll stretch his mouth down in one smile or reveal a white tentacle from his chest or mouth. Amos will leave himself open to any psychic or physical attack.
Super strength from the opponent - Anyone with super strength such as Kryptonians can tear Reverend Howell's alien form in half with bare hands. The same goes for his human body.
Sluggish alien form - Amos is slow to move around, since he's a large alien. He's vulnerable to any physical attack if he can't avoid them easily.

Personality: Reverend Howell always takes the concept of unity seriously. He believes that he's weak if he endures solitude. He views others the same way if they aren't together. Strength in numbers. Amos will hesitate to murder people, since deceased people aren't unity to him. He enjoys preaching about unity to anyone willing to hear him.
Reverend Howell is faithful to anyone he obeys. He's willing to protect any friend from harm. Anyone looking physically different may become his companion, since he knows what it's like to be unique in his alien form. He may wander with a superhero from boredom. Amos will use a mouth or chest tentacle to attack anyone attempting to hurt an ally. One scowl will form if a plan is disrupted or if his sermons are disregarded.
History: Amos Howell was born on April 4 in Smallville, Kansas. He always followed his preacher father to crowds as the latter mentioned how important unity was. For everyone to be together. When he was in his twenties, he decided to become a Reverend. He wandered from restaurants to churches as he preached about unity. One event transformed Reverend Howell physically and emotionally after he was in his early thirties.
When Amos wandered by many trees, he viewed a spaceship descending with wide eyes. A large alien with many eyes and tentacles then emerged from the spaceship and introduced himself as Unity. He mentioned his plan of becoming one with every living thing. Unity decided to use Reverend Howell as a minion. He used a tentacle to pierce the preacher's back and implant a parasite in him. The parasite wrapped around Reverend Howell's brain and controlled him.
Reverend Howell was given the ability to transform into an alien resembling his master and the task of leading crowds into a revival tent where Unity lived. He used his Southern charm to lead others to Unity where the alien pierced them and implanted mind-controlling parasites in them.
Unity's victims were always sluggish and mentioned his name.
It was one day when Reverend Howell went to gather extra victims for his master before a portal suddenly appeared. With wide eyes, he attempted to flee before the portal pulled him in and shut down. Amos was tossed into a world he wasn't familiar with at all. A world of deserts, jungles, etc. The confused preacher wandered through the world and searched for other forms of unity.
