Appearance: Maxine is 5 feet and 8 inches. She weighs 130 pounds. There are more than a handful of freckles on her face.
Red hair reaches Maxine's waist and her eyes are light green.
Maxine usually wears a long dress that's dark or light green. White and red striped stockings reach her knees. White sneakers are shoes she prefers to wear. She sometimes wears a green witch's hat. One small white or yellow cyclone can be viewed at the top of her dress.

Powers/Magic: AEROKINESIS - When Maxine concentrates, she can mentally summon any forms of wind. A gentle breeze or one hurricane up to 200 mph. With a thought, she is able to form a handful of tiny tornadoes that lift other people with ease. Maxine can form her own small tornado that lifts her up to the height of a skyscraper. Riding wind currents also let her fly in general. With a wind burst, she can deflect any object that approaches her. Hurricanes are able to knock houses down or tornadoes can lift them.
Physical Abilities: SUPER STRENGTH - Maxine's tornadoes are strong enough to lift one 197 pound man. Even five of them at once.
INTELLIGENT: - Maxine has a 4.0 GPA and 1,300 SAT score in high school.
Weaknesses: MORTALITY - Maxine remains human and she's capable of easily getting hurt or killed from normal attacks. She can also get sick just like any other person.
NANOBYTES - The nanobytes that were injected in Maxine when she was young caused her aerokinesis to activate.
If they shut down in any way, her powers will vanish and she'll be a normal human.
CONCENTRATION - Since Maxine's powers are mental, she has to concentrate for them to work. If anything distracts her, any type of wind such as a mere breeze or tornado will vanish. Maxine must focus on what she's doing and is vulnerable to any physical or mental attack.
TALKATIVE - Maxine enjoys talking in an excited tone and quickly. If she's excited about a particular subject such as the Wizard of Oz, she'll talk about it for many hours. Along with her know-it-all personality, she'll easily annoy people and cause them to scowl. Shun her. As a result, she'll frown and refuse to interact with anyone due to depression.
FIRE - Maxine's wind powers don't work against fire or anyone with pyrokinesis. Her wind will cause fires to spread quickly from one area to the next or become bigger. She is also vulnerable to flame based attacks and can be easily wounded from them.

Personality: Maxine almost always smiles and sometimes talks at a quick pace. If she's excited about something, she may address people in a loud tone as she speaks quickly. She is known to talk about anything she likes for hours. Maxine is willing to protect those she cares about from harm. She loves anything related to the Wizard of Oz books and movies. Maxine also likes animals and hates the thought of animal cruelty.
Most people scowl if Maxine talks a lot. If Maxine is shunned, she'll frown and may not interact with others for hours.
Since Maxine has a 1,300 SAT score, she'll also cause people to scowl if she appears to be too smart. She'll glower and lash out with her wind powers if people hurt anyone she cares about. Family or friends. Maxine isn't always aware of how others react to her motormouth and may continue to talk quickly.
History: Maxine Hunkel was born in New York, New York on August 24. She often spent time with her grandmother, Abigail Mathilda ''Ma'' Hunkel. She always smiled when ''Ma'' mentioned her days as a costumed superhero, Red Tornado. Maxine was fascinated with superheroes ever since.
When Maxine was six-years-old, she was kidnapped by T.O. Morrow. He previously created the Red Tornado android to infiltrate superheroes and destroy them. The scientist injected her with nanobytes, but they weren't able to activate until many years later. With the help of her grandmother, she escaped.
After Maxine turned 19, she attended Harvard University. She had a 1,300 SAT score and majored in theater. Maxine had a habit of talking at a rapid pace and with enthusiasm. Her motormouth caused other people to glower and shun her. She moped and fell into a depression.
The nanobytes that were previously injected into Maxine activated a few days later.
When Maxine sneezed, she managed to destroy Ma's garage. The next day, she woke up inside a tornado five hundred feet from the ground.
To Maxine's delight, she discovered that the nanobytes gave her aerokinesis - the ability to manipulate wind. She was able to mentally summon tornadoes and hurricanes.
Maxine was eventually approached by a few superheroes for the Justice Society of America due to her newfound abilities and grandmother being one ex-superhero. Excited about becoming a hero, she talked quickly and loudly. The offer to join was almost revoked. She found herself within the JSA headquarters where she chose a costume and code name. One green dress and the code name Cyclone.
To Maxine's surprise, a small monkey appeared and followed her on the streets. She decided to take him in. He was named Frankie after L. Frank Baum. Frankie was given a tiny vest with wings so that he would resemble a flying monkey from the Wizard of Oz.
Cyclone helped to protect the JSA HQ from Heartbreak Slayer when he attacked anyone with god-like power for being a false deity.
She watched as he eventually teleported.
It was one day when Cyclone was on patrol before a portal materialized and pulled her into another world. Confused, she attempted to fit in. Cyclone searched for other heroes to be with.
