Appearance:
Eona is a short young woman, standing at about 5'1" in height with a slim, petite build largely due to some lack of proper exercise from a previous injury that left her disabled. Although, this injury has long since been fixed leaving only a scar along her left hip. Nevertheless, Eona has a pale complexion with some blemishing, straight long black hair going down to the middle of her back, and distinctive dark blue eyes. Her attire usually consists of qipao-style shirts and qipao dresses that are red and dark blue in color accompanied by shorts or long pants, leather black boots with red lace-ups, and gold, cream, and orange obis or belts. She is also known to have leather belts around her waist with silver studs and leather straps hanging from her right shoulder to hold her sheaths.
Weapons:
Ornate jewel encrusted twin katanas
Dragoneye Compass
Red Portfolia/Pearl of the Gods red book
Powers/Magic:
Dragon Magic: In her world, Eona has been taught the art of dragon magic, unseen mystical energies associated with the twelve celestial dragons of the zodiac also known as the Dragons of Good Fortune. In Eona's case, she is the Dragoneye of the Dragon Dragon, better known as the Mirror Dragon who embodies the virtue of Truth and is considered the Queen of the celestial dragons. With a connection to the natural energies of the world, Eona is granted the ability to not only see these dragons but manipulate their power via her connection to the Mirror Dragon whom can manifest in a Red to orange energy being but only Eona can truly speak to her. When using her abilities, a smell of cinnamon often accompanies Eona. This connection grants Eona a few abilities connected only to the Dragoneyes:
+Aura Reading/Empathy: Unique to the Mirror Dragon, Eona can see and sense the emotions of others usually through visual perceptions of auras. These auras come in array of colors associated with differing emotions, such as anger being red, sadness being blue, affection/love in pinks, etc. But, Eona can also just sense and "feel" the emotions of others without the auras. She can also by extension perceive emotional connections among individuals, usually taking the forms of strings.
+Limited Earth Link: With a connection to the natural energies of the world, this too allows Eona and other Dragoneyes to manipulate the world around them within a limited range that could consist of an entire country side. However, operating alone Eona's range is far more limited to a 10 block radius, allowing her to influence the land around her to some degree. She can cause storms, summon lightning and rain, manipulate water and the earth, and feel atmospheric disturbances within that range.
+Healing: Another unique ability to the Mirror Dragon, Eona can draw on the natural energies around her that takes the form of a red aura and accelerate the healing process of minor to near-fatal wounds. Although, the more fatal the wound the more energy Eona is required to focus with.
+Summoning: Ultimately, Eona's ability to summon the Mirror Dragon is the epitome of her dragon magic, the dragon resembling a traditional Eastern dragon that is primary red and dark orange with fainter oranges in her mane and scale edges, a large pearl located beneath her chin. This dragon is an extension of Eona and the source of her true abilities that enable her to also manifest the dragon to fight at her side as well as give her a power boost of sorts with her abilities.
Physical Abilities:
Though it has taken some time, Eona is agile, flexible, and highly dexterous and coordinated, making use of her small stature to her advantage in speed and swiftness. She is skilled in martial arts and swordsmanship especially with the use of twin blades. Through years of practice, Eona is also excellent with acting.
Weaknesses:
Physically, Eona is still just a human capable of dying by natural causes, being afflicted with disease, and other issues humans face.
Any abilities Eona has are all tied to the likes of her dragon, the Mirror Dragon, acting more as a conduit of the celestial dragon's power than it being her own.
Likewise, Eona's connection to the dragon is closely tied to her emotions and state of mind; feeling any negative emotions or lack of confidence heavily affects the connection her and the Mirror Dragon have severely weakening this tie.
Due to lack of proper training or true guidance, Eona still struggles to gain control of her abilities, having an understanding of the basics but still operates on a trial-and-error basis result in mixed effects.

Personality:
Eona has always been something of a social outcast and reserved. Before and after her accident that left her crippled, she had always been a quiet, introverted individual not helped by being considered bad luck or bad fortune with few friends or few people she could consider close. It was from her master that she was pressed to be extremely cautious, wary, and guarded, leading her to be untrusting towards most and learning to be observant of verbal and non-verbal cues. More so, Eona learned to be a talented liar, being able to put herself in a role for others to believe she is another, such as when she hid she really was a woman during the ascension year of the Rat Dragon.
But things have changed since Eona discovered she was the Mirror Dragoneye as well as coming to accept her true nature of who she is. Now, Eona has become more fierce and stronger in will, but still retains a calm, cautious air about her. She is more expressive, feminine, and determined than when she was first learning to be a Dragoneye, leaning more into trusting others and opening herself to much needed connections and help. But to a fault, Eona is deeply loyal and protective, finally no longer hiding who or what she is as she learns to be a Dragoneye and discover who she truly is without a mask.
History:(Much of this history taken from Wikipedia)
Before she was considered as an apprentice for the Dragoneyes, Eona was once a young girl residing on a salt farm, being the daughter of Lillia and an unknown man. What happened to her biological father is unknown even to Eona, and by the time she was six years old her mother had remarried. However, her stepfather desired to have his own children with Lillia and not a burden that was not his, forcing his wife to sell her eldest daughter for money and to be rid of a "problem". That person happened to be Heuris Brannon who took the girl when he discovered her abilities to see the aura in others and the then 11 known dragons connected to the Dragoneyes. Thus, she was taken under Brannon to train for the choosing day.
Dragoneyes are the human links to the twelve dragons of good fortune, who provide energy to the earth. Sixteen-year-old Eon has been studying the ancient art of Dragon Magic for four years, hoping to be selected as apprentice to a Dragoneye. However, circumstances do not favour Eon for two reasons; first, because he is disabled and secondly, because "he" is secretly female. On the choosing day, the long-lost Mirror Dragon returns and chooses Eona, who becomes a Lord due to the absence of a current Mirror Dragoneye. Much to the fury of the evil Lord Ido, all the dragons bow to the Mirror Dragon, including his.
Meanwhile, the country is on the brink of civil war. A battle is about to break out between the Emperor and one of his brothers, High Lord Sethon, who wishes to make a claim for the throne. Lord Ido has allied himself with Sethon. The Emperor and his heir, Prince Kygo, attempt to use the return of the Mirror Dragon as a good omen for their reign, which throws Eona into the midst of their struggle for power. The only people she knows she can trust are her best friend Dillon, transgender courtier Lady Dela, and Dela's bodyguard Ryko.
When Ido discovers Eona's true gender, her dragon disappears. When talking to Dillon, Eona realises that she does not know her dragon's name and thus cannot communicate properly. To remedy this, she must find and decode the red folio of the Mirror Dragon. In Ido's library, she meets an almost insane Dillon who finds both the red folio and another black folio, detailing how it is possible to create a 'String of Pearls', with two Dragoneyes harnessing the power of the normal 12. She puts the pieces together and realizes that Ido wishes for the two of them to be the only two Dragoneyes left alive.
Prince Kygo flees and the Emperor's only other heir is killed by Lord Sethon. In desperation Dela, Eona, and Ryko try to escape but Ido orders his men to find them. As the warfare escalates and all seems to be lost, Lady Dela screams out that the dragon's name is her name: Eona. She summons her dragon, the Queen of the Heavens, and they are united at last, with Eona's crippled leg healing in the process. Together the Mirror Dragon and Dragoneye force compassion upon Ido and the trio make their escape to the river.
In the year since, Eona, Dela, and Ryko met up with rebel forces against Lord Sethon who were in favor of Prince Kygo taking the throne, and by happenstance met with the prince's envoy while on the move. It is through this journey that Eona got to know the emperor-to-be as well as began learning more about her abilities as a Dragoneye through Dela via the woman script written on her Compass and folio. But on their way to a rebel encampment in the mountains, the envoy was attacked by mysterious shadow-like creatures that injured some of the guards and swallowed up Eona and some of their party, arriving in an unknown dimension of Median.
